Legal and regulatory evidence · Ansvar Evidence

Find the provision and read the source.

Law, regulation, standards, case law and agency guidance across Europe, the UK, the US and Canada. Every row is traced to the publisher that issued it, with a licence you can rely on, or the answer says the source is not served.

Illustrative session; the GDPR row is a served citation

    What you get

A search that fans out, and a lookup that lands on the article.

Ask in your own words and in the corpus language. Search returns the rows that matched across every served jurisdiction you asked for; a lookup returns the exact article, recital or decision by reference.

    One question, every jurisdiction

A question about incident reporting reaches the directive, the Dutch act and the German act in one call. Each row names its publisher, so your agent can quote the right national wording.

    How a citation works

    Cited, or refused.

A row is served only with its source URL, publisher and licence. When the corpus has no served source for the question, the gateway says so and names the gap. Nothing is filled in from the model's memory.

    1. Your agent asks, leading with Using Ansvar

That phrase tells the agent to use the connector. The gateway returns only what it served; how the agent phrases its answer is the agent's.

    2. The gateway fetches from the served corpora

One call, whatever it fans out to. Rows come back with publisher, licence and the original URL.

    3. The answer cites, or refuses

A served row is quoted with its citation. A missing source is reported as unresolved, with the reason.

    4. A query receipt records what was served

On Company, a signed record of what was asked and what came back, so you can verify later what the answer rested on without asking us.

Regulatory intelligence is included: search publications and deadlines from the regulators we watch, with the same citation rules. How the watch works
    Checking, not just citing

Hand back what your agent wrote. We re-fetch every citation.

Collecting citations is the easy half. The gateway takes the references a draft relies on, retrieves each one again under your own scope through the source-pinned exact lookup, checks the producer-declared identity of the row that came back, and only then compares your quotation with the body.

A verdict per citation, in words that do not hedge

Every subject comes back with one verdict. A quotation found in the retrieved body is quote_checked; a subject submitted without one, and resolved, is reference_resolved. A quotation that is not in the body is quote_mismatch, and one too short to be evidence is no_quotation_submitted — a refusal, not a pass. A reference whose row turns out to name a different provision is identity_mismatch. Where no producer identity exists to establish, the reference cannot be read, the corpus is not served to you, or the lookup itself fails, the answer is identity_absent, reference_unparseable, not_served, withheld or unavailable — never a quiet pass.

A displayed reference never decides which row answers a subject: an envelope that prints “Article 99” over an Article 1 body fails here rather than passing on its label.

    The contracts behind it
    s1GDPR art. 17, quotation from the draftquote_checked
s2Same article, a paraphrase the text presents as a quotequote_mismatch
s3A reference with no source pin behind itidentity_absent
What this establishes is what the source says, and whether your text quoted it. It is not a legal opinion, and it does not certify a conclusion — the reviewer still decides. That boundary is the point: the machine checks what a machine can check, and names the rest.
